Rachael is a contemporary painter from Melbourne, focusing on oil painting and watercolours.  A background in textile design brings a love of colour and pattern to her painting practice.  Her work plays between abstraction and figurative representation, while exploring themes of humanity, and the natural world.  She has been a finalist in the Toowoomba Gallery’s national Next big thing award, and the Doyles Art Award.
